Returns

Please note many items at FireHoseDirect are bulky and incur considerable shipping cost. If you have any questions before placing your order do not hesitate to call us at 888-975-0858 and press "1" for sales to have your questions answered. We want to make sure you receive the correct product for your requirements and want FireHoseDirect to be your first choice for any future needs. If an item is marked "Free Shipping" then regardless of bulk and weight you will incur no shipping charge when shipped to one of the 48 contiguous states!

If you have a problem with your order the first step is to call us at 888-975-0858 and press "0" for help. We may be able to help you resolve your issue and if not will be able to give you instruction on where to return your items. We will also email you a Returned Goods Authorization letter to enclose in the box with your return. No returns will be accepted without a RGA letter.

Returns are subject to return shipping cost as well as a 25% restocking fee. Remember on many outgoing "free shipping" hose shipments we have absorbed the orignial shipping costs. The 25% restocking fee applies to total price of goods not including Shipping & Handling. S&H charges are not refundable. Returned items must be in new and resalable condition. Request for an RGA letter must be made within 30 days of receipt of goods or sale becomes final. Due to their nature custom orders and special order items are not returnable. If you have a problem with a custom order call us and we may have suggestions to help make the item work for you.

Payment

Credit Card: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express both online and by phone. This is the quickest, easiest and safest method of payment for all parties. We also offer PayPal as a payment option.

Check: We can accept checks on a case-by-case basis however orders will not ship until checks are cleared. Returned checks are subject to a minimum $50 charge.

Wire Transfer: We can accept wire transfers for payment.  Goods will ship after receipt of TRN # and verification of funds.

Purchase Order: We can make arrangements on a case-by-case basis to extend net 30 PO terms to U.S. government entities and fire departments. Please call our sales department to discuss. All past due accounts are subject to a late payment charge of 1.5% per month, or maximum allowed by law if different, along with collection expenses including reasonable attorney's fees.

Shipping & Handling

You will receive a shipping and handling amount before committing to purchase. We make a best effort to estimate these costs at the time you place your order. While it is very unlikely, in the event of a significant shipping calculation error or rise in shipping costs from the carrier, we reserve the right to ask for a shipping surcharge. You will of course have the right to cancel your order if this were to occur. We realize this situation would not make our customers happy and will do our best to avoid this as it is our goal to build a lasting positive relationship with all of our customers.

We are only able to ship to U.S. destinations. If goods are required for export customers may utilize a freight forwarding company or other domestic destination to take delivery of goods. FireHoseDirect's responsibilty for delivery ends upon acceptance by carrier companies. Most deliveries are via UPS but may include FedEx, the USPS and various freight and common carriers. If you have a delivery company preference and would like to use your corporate billing account just let us know and we will do our best to accomodate that request.

Prices are subject to change without notice. We try to be as accurate as possible but cannot be held responsible for errors of ommission or typographical errors. We reserve the right to cancel an order for a mispriced item.  Special sales, promotions and coupon codes may also change/terminate without notice and are not retroactive.

Please read the product description page carefully for details on hose construction materials, warranty, test pressures, etc. Please pay special attention to the standard coupling and thread type specified or selectied for that hose, adapter, valve or other product.
