These gaskets are for female couplings or adapters that are standard "fire hose thread" identified at NH or NST. These gaskets are known as face gaskets or swivel washers. These gaskets will not fit NPSH fittings or local fire hose thread fittings that are not NH/NST. These gaskets are not intended for use as tail washers which are used in the fire hose coupling process.
